Today I finally had the chance to shoot a band I've been talking to about creating a promotional shot for. In doing so, I also finally got to knock out having a shoot at the bridge I've been dying to get a chance to use for a set.
I'm currently wrapping up some work from a local company I did some headshots and documentary work for - as soon as that's in the can, I'll pop some of the band photos up. They are called "Pirahna", and you can check them out HERE.
edit: As promised, here are a few photos from the day:
Overall, I'm pretty happy with how they came out. However, the day was not without casualty - as we were on a bridge, there was a fair amount of wind blowing (no buildings or trees to slow it down). So within the first 20 minutes of shooting, one gust actually got a hold of one of my softboxes and brought the stand down, light/battery pack/Pocket Wizard and all.
Needless to say, I'll be keeping a better eye (as well as a few sandbags) on my light stands during windy days from now on...
